2003 Euro Lux Steering Wheel Upgrade

Hi,

Just interested to find out if anyone has attempted to upgrade their factory fitted sterring wheel in their 03 Euro Luxury to the newer types found in the later CL7s (05 and Above) or CL9 Euro.
I guess the main reason for my curiousity is that it would be great to have illuminated buttons! plus the newer steering wheels are so much more attractive.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

the illumated buttons are not very illuminated tbh.
the centre part of the 06 wheel that contains the airbag is about $600 from Honda if I recall correctly. Wheel itself would probably be another 200. Hardly worth it.

i was thinking more along the lines of finding a second hand one in-tact if thats even possible?
i guess my biggest question is would all the controls work? they have the same functions except CL9 having an extra section. the only real difference is the lights and the physical appearance.

Wrecker is going to be your best bet for that, but it's going to be hard to find, since the airbag is often deployed in a car that's damaged enough to write it off. You could try Honbits.

Yeah, i never thought it would be easy but i guess i was more curious on whether it could be done....no point searching if it aint going to work properly.
