did a quick search with no real results

anyone have the measurement in mm from the top of the tire tread(preferably 195/55/15 if possible) to the wheel arch?
eyeballing photos doesn't really work without a form of measurement :p

On this webpage it says that the ground clearance for the EK4 is 106mm in stock form wearing 195/55/15. I don't know if that helps.

yeah not quite what i was looking for but thanks anyway :p
sorta skeptical about the ground clearance figures seeing as dropping it to sit on my tyre treads and my front sway bars got about 80mm ground clearance

Your question is an interesting one, and I'd also like to know what the stock height is, espcially compared to the em1.

My guess is that they are probably the same.

My em1's suspension is stock, but it's wearing 205/40/16 rubber so it'd be useless trying to measure the height as the tyre size is smaller than stock (profile wise).

You should measure from the center of the wheels hub to the top of the wheel arch. That way the measurement wont depend on what tire profile or brand of tire the person is currently using.

yeah your tyres would make it approx 10mm lower or so i would imagine

^yeah i was gonna consider mentioning that, but being ozhonda i figured it'd be easier to understand if i asked the 'wheel arch gap'
maybe i should add 'fingers' as a measurement instead of mm's? :p

Actually, maybe fingers mightn't be too bad. A little crude though, as it depends on how fat your fingers are ;)

I can measure that on my EM1 if you like. Just let me know if you do.
