Hello all,

Just got a set of dc5r toda headers just a quick question i need answered. Thought i'd ask the boys on ozhonda first as i can see you know your stuff.

Do both of the oxygen sensors plug into the header? also will this bring up an engine light as there is no catalytic converter?

I believe that to get a cat onto the toda header you need to cut the exhaust and weld it together? will this still bring up an engine light?

Thanks in advance !

You'll need to get a cat and get that installed, either into the header or exhaust or just somewhere in the middle or you'll risk getting a pretty big fine if you're caught on the road without one. One o2 sensor goes before the cat, one after when its installed. Engine light is pretty random, some people have it, some don't once the cat is installed.

Ive recently just got a Toda header too but mine previously had a cat on it so its already modified at the end to fit a cat on. One sensor should be near the end of the header and the second sensor is just after the cat.
Hope this helps

On the note of engine light appearing when you have the secondary o2 sensor attached, it is more of a cmoon problem with facelfited DC5's with a high flo cat.

The fix to this is gettinga defouler, its basically a metal thing u screw into the cat, and then you screw the second sensor onto that. The effect of this metal thing is that it allows the secondary sensor to not read as much "datA" so you wont throw a CEL light.
