View Full Version : Jazz Double DIN centre console install
Hi guys,
I'm about to embark on the Double DIN conversion for the jazz.
I've got the panel, brackets, single din pocket and Headunit, all ready to go.
One thing is that i am having trouble finding the instructions on how to remove the stock standard centre console, I remember seeing it posted here once, it had pictures and step by step instructions.
All i can find is the Sony PDF file which isn't very clear.
Also anyone here installed it already? and did you use a Harness for the wiring?
thanks

lol
that's locate in a very secret place......
thanks a lot man! i totally missed that thread when i was searching for it.
By the way, for all those looking for the single DIN pockets.
I bought one from Strathfield Car radios for $26. It was called a Turbo pocket or something and it was actually for nissan and toyota.
It fits the jazz, console, except the face plate may not fit exactly but its still better than a hole there.
I'll post pics when its finished.
Btw, Civiceg9. did you use a harness for the wiring? or did you do the snip and connect method?

cool thanks for the tip.
I'll be using a harness, that way it will retain the factory wiring so can be easily reverted back to stock if needed.
I did some research and found that the Jazz has the same plug as the Civics and CRVs and some Accords.
