hey i was just wondering if there is a difference in the structure of the body of a 1992 crx and the 93 crx?
would 93-97 model bodies fit on a 92 crx?

If they're Generation 3 CRX's (Del Sol/targa model) then yes, they will all fit one another.

However some of the late production Generation 2 CRX's are listed as being 1992 models.

Just make sure they're both Gen3 targas and they'll fit.

ah i see, sorry another noob question, cant seem to find the answers on google.. but
how do i know if a 1992 del sol targa is a generation2 or 3 model?
is there any specific features that show this?
because i have been looking at different body kits, but they seem to be listed as 1993-97 model fits only?

Targa is Gen3

Gen2 is the hatch-back looking CRX (the one in my profile picture).

Just google images of Gen2 and Gen3 CRX's.

oh ok, but i'm worried about something..
i've been looking around at customised front and rear bumpers for the gen 3 crx, but its listed that it is made to fit the 93-97 models?
does that mean that the front and rear bumper will not fit onto a 92 gen3 crx?

As already stated above, you have a late make 92 gen3, but because 99% of gen3's were produced from 93 onwards, all gen3 products are listed as such, so ppl dont buy gen3 parts for their 92 gen2 :)

So to answer your question, yes it will fit, all gen3 parts will fit you gen3, listed as 93 or not, they are all gen3's

Hope this has cleared it all up

Post pics too ;)
