View Full Version : How to install dc5r pedals onto another dc5

Hey guys, I got a set of brand new oem dc5r pedals with the long bits too (not just the pedals themselves)

Was wodnering how one would go aobut installing these onto a dc5?

I've also got the whole pedal assembly too for my DC5S.
Ive heard its a bitch to actually install the clutch/brake assembly, whereas the accelerator assembly is somewhat easier and the dead pedal/footrest is clip-on.
I haven't had the time to try and install mine.
Would be interested to know how as well.

The part number for the foot rest (just the top metal bit that will clip onto your DC5S) is:

46992 - S6M - J00

I'm guessing it shouldn't cost too much new?

Does the footrest from dc5r sit straight on top of the stock blacl plastic onr?

It doesn't say J00, it says R000 at the end!

You have to take off/un-clip the original foot rest on the DC5S, then simply clip on the DC5R foot rest.

It doesn't say J00, it says R000 at the end!

I just checked again.
Part number on the sticker says: 46992 - S6M - J00 (refer to picture)
BUT the back of the foot rest does say R000 - like in the link above.
