Ok, so i want to put some rear speakers in my EG hatch. at the moment i have some 6x9's mounted in the parcel shelf but the wires were cut by previous owner.

I'm a cyclist so need to be able to put my bike in the back so rewiring the parcel shelf is waste of time cause it spends most of its time tucked down behind front seats with rear seats folded down.

Wanting to know of ideas (preferably with pics) people have used to have rear speakers without using the parcel shelf?

Cheers
Heath

Just ride your bike everywhere :D

Nah you might be able to put it into the rear door panels but would have no idea how to do it :(

I'm running 6.5" bostons in the rear. If ur dedicated, then 6x9 can fit in the speaker panels

spot by the wreckers and find the newer model civics (EG) and just grab the gathers for the speakers.

do you know where the standard speakers are located?
you should be able to fit your 6x9s in there with a custom bracket.

im running 6.5"in the rear, as i had the speakers already, i didnt bother trying to get fancy with 6x9 as i have a jlaudio bass tube that pumps bass nicely

are you talking about the panels just near the arm rests for the rear seats? my panels are just solid plastic. cant find anywhere where 'standard' rear speakers could be mounted....... Looks like i missed out on rears from Honda.....
