hey guys my brake lights don't work when i brake, but the 3rd brake light works ? S:
but when i turn the headlights on the lights show up, but when i brake it won't show up..
i was thinking it might be a fuse, or the bulbs but the bulbs don't randomly not work at the same time..

there are 2 filaments in each globe. the one for the brake light must be blown. have a look at the globe as check for brown patches on the glass and a brocken filament.

as said above check the bulb it self
shouldnt be the fuse as the parking light still works

i checked the bulbs they looked fine, no brown patches.. i guess i should replace the bulb it self ? is it the first bulb, the inside bulb that were talking about ?

when a bulb is blown it dosnt always have a brown patch, therefor u need to observe closely ensuring the filament is still in one piece/not broken

they are cheap, but wouldnt it be better if you could understand why it isnt working rather than just going to buy a new bulb not knowing if it will fix the problem?

if they dont work after being replaced then its time to check the fuses

lol yeah theirs two types of amber brake bulbs, cant remember which one you need, but yeah one has two buts sticking out from the screw head directly opposite each other and the other type has two bits sticking out not directly opposite each other. if that makes any sense.
