heyy J i got a set of superlows yesterday.. im pretty sure you can ride it on ur stock shocks.. i was told if u leave the rubber top end of the shocks on, it wont wear out the shocks that fast (coz app people cut it off or something, not too sure how it works).. you'll probably get a bumpy ride but definately a lower one.. ive got a set of spare shocks sitting at home so if it stuffs up ill change everything back to stock.. if you like wait abit and ill let ya know how mine turns out hahaha.. but yee im kind of a noob too so we'll wait nd see what ppl say :P

if you get new king springs it'll sag a little bit after a while
other than that the ride is ok.

My ek had superlows on stock shocks (160,00kms+), handling felt firmer at first then it degraded overtime. Rears were annoying going over humps even at slow speeds, felt like you were dropping from a 2 story building.

I suggest you get new shocks now or save up for coilovers. Choose wisely or you might end up forking out more money

yea i searched before but none of them really answered my questions. i just want to know if:
- kings are better than stock
- should i update my shocks aswell even if i just want a lower ride with the same stock handling (for now)
- and will my stock shocks cope with kings

talk shit.

these questions have been answered a million times on this forum, seen threads asking about aftermarket springs in stock shocks ton of times asking and answering the same questions :).

-define better? lower but lose a little comfort, have to look out for bumps/potholes
-yes, ur stock shocks with blow after long use with the king springs as they are shorter then stock springs with different spring rates this that and the hence the OEM shock isn't made for it. you can find cheap aftermarket shocks for cheap.
-it will for a while, just a matter of time when the oem shock will give up

i had them on my ITR for about 10,00kms... they saged, they were oft, they were shit

Having said that, they served a purpose for me. I didn't want to buy coils at the time, but i wanted it to sit a bit nicer. It did that no problem...
