If you are doing it yourself, then worth a go.
If you pay someone to do it, is better to get a new one. You never know how long the 'pretty new' will last n if there's any defects on it.

sold a used clutch on here - altho i believed the k's ( saw from dash and reciepts of import ) its still a risk with anything 2nd hand and a consumeable item.

Best case to get a new item IMO

i wouldnt bother, its not cheap to rip the gearbox out, pretty time consuming, so if im going to all the hassle to do it, id wana make sure i didnt have to do it again for as long as possible

i have a spare ORC clutch that i used on my dc2. till i sold it. approx 10,000kms old. but was told by a mate that it may possibly blow my gear box? :S just trying to figure out if i should put it in or not. lol.

10k is nothing. Should be 1/6-1/10th the life of the clutch so why not use it.
It WONT blow your gearbox lol.

new is best, too much fking about removing it to put a old one in, (unless you're selling the car, if you're keeping it, it's prob the worst investment to make)

Better get a new one with new pressure plate and barrings . . . if the 'pretty new" one stuffs up, waste money on labour. Good Luck
