Hi everyone my name is ben and I just bought a 1992 Integra with 75,000 k's, stock as but like new!! It's nice but sadly has the B18A1, no vtec :(, so will get a power chip in the near future. I just wanted to know the in's and out's of this car, best engine modifications and any other info etc. Links and stuff to DIY things would be good.

Plan so far (student budget)

DIY blackhouse headlights
Xenon bulbs
18" black rims
Good stereo
Engine mods if legal (gay as p plate laws coming in)
...continued

catch ya

hey buddy. Welcome.
I used to have a DA9 she was good to me but had to upgrade.
what u need to do is stiffen up the suspension as it tends to roll a bit around corners. some struts and decent springs would be good if u want to roll with 18"
I can feel the difference now when i go back into the DA9 and go around corners, my cousin has the car now.
do a C.A.I also.
if you are game enought get a Vtec head and make it a Frankenstein. that way you'll get Vtec.

I think you mean 'wound back' And are you offering to show a forum member how to break the law by winding back their odometer? I hope not.

I also hope you're not in some way implying that Arabic people are dodgy. If that's not the case, what are you saying?

75 000kms is very rare, but the condition of the car inside and out certainly appears consistent with that. I know my DA9 with 150 000kms doesnt look anywhere near that good.

It's very rare but not impossible! I believe it's legit. :) Take care of her and she'll take care of you! Great find man.

Not every car that has extremely low kms for its age means it has been wound back, take my car as an example its a 91 model and i go it with 106xxx kms and the interior looked like it was new, the body was in excellent condition aswell and also had log books with receipts.

Hope you take great care of her!

nah one owner since new and full service books, the guy had it as a weekend car and only did 2,000 k's a year the last coulple of years and was selling it because he just got a new accord. Im in adelaide by the way. How much could i sell it for :P

my mate had an r34 gtt, with ligit 48000kms on it, about 20k worth of after market parts on it,
when he tried selling for 25k he struggled because narrow minded people kept saying the kms on the car werent ligit..
he ended up giving it to another mate for 20k, i think its a very good buy.

so i know for a fact that it is possible to have low kms ligit.

yeah okay. I got it for 5300 but just did the timing belt and water pump for 800. I read the dog & lemon guide and its says hondas tend to break heaps after 120,000 k's and cost alot, whats your experience with them?

I knew someone was gona say that
even if it has so (which i strongly disagree with)... look at the condition
I really dont think it has been, considering the condition
show me a car with 200,000 kms in that condition.. seriously.. its legit.. get over it

honda is reliable, youll get 300000kms out of that engine with ease

yeah its still got the original honda cassette player which i found had surprisingly good quality and bass, I will still get a new head unit and speakers anyway. how much would it be to get everything shaved, would look sick. how do you even shave doorhandles and stuff?

And espionage, whats so good about the headlights they are just stock haha

im gona show him, how to tell if its been wound back.. and WUN is jst easier to say.. if u say it out loud u shuold be able to understand.

Im helping out not "breaking the law"

as for the racism.. i am one. i know the shit we do .. and what majority does. Especially in western suburbs areas.

If it is ONE owner then yes most likely legit.. and well u got the full service books so u thats it u got it there.. log books usualy dont lie.

---------
As for the condition of the car.. ive seen cars with 500,000k's and it was IMACCULATE.. that just depends on its owners.. more usualy its LAST owner..

My car was in MINT CONDITION except for the interior..cigerette burns from the old owner EVERYWHERE. otherwise the exterior .. the rims everything perfect. Even my stock headlights were clear never faded or nothing.

K's has very little to do with condition

honda is reliable, youll get 300000kms out of that engine with ease

i second that

exactly, he already said log books to show kms etc.. yet you still came in with your accusations that the car is not legit and every1 is dodgy etc etc

leave the kid alone
