wat rims on my EM1....?

jus wondering for some suggestions on some rims for my coupe... i'm thinking of the Buddy Club P1's in the QF or the SF range.. most likely in white... but i do like the original stock white rims on the S2000, NSX and the DC2Rs... but they're all 5 studs... any suggestions for some rims or on the OEM honda rims?...

The P1's in gunmetal should suit your white EM1 very nicely imo.

Id stay away from white personally, apart from being a bitch to clean i prefer the darker look. The buddy club series are good, and i would put them on a vtir hatch for a racer look. But your car looks classy id be tempted to go something with a little more blinginess and style.

i rekn the p1's would look also, but have u considered rota C8's? they are one of my favorite wheels, also rays wheels have a nice range (i.e volk racing, gram lights).
i also rekn racing harts would look awesome

i say go for bronze or gunmetal grey rims, white is getting very common

well, i think silver rims don't actually look that good on white cars. so either go bronze or white. but with either colour, it'll make ur car look very racey.

re buddy club, the SFs dun look that hot. the QF and P1-2 look great but i think they look better on "bulkier" rides like 350Z. the EM looks a bit weedy...not aggressive enuff.

to give u an idea, here's what white P1 looks like on black EM1. 17" they are.

I think darker rims suit the car, like bronze or gunmetal. Gives it a meaner look and suits white more. White rims look funny especially if they are a different shade of white to your duco. Can't compare your car to the black one as they are opposite in colour.

If your dead-set on S2k/NSX/DC2 style rims, you can probably track down replica's :thumbsup:

Also, i'd also say get dark rims instead of white. I considered white rims on my white EK, and came to the conclusion that it would be too much white, up to you though.

i got SF's and they look eactly like the QF's to me... ?? so yeh.. quote light. obviously not as light as the QF' . which is about 3.4kgs or so.. but yeh...

if i were you.. i'd keep your rims.. or get darker ones for sure.. gunmetal and yeh.. cf bonnet and lip all the way around.. hahaha if not full kit and massiove blings''.. hahaha and darkest tint you can put.. depends on your over all appearance and style

I've also got an EM1, and i happen to just put some new wheels onto my baby yesterday. Got a set of 18" HR-125 wheels in white. I'll post up pics once i get home from work. Just like nobbs i also wanted a white or black EM1 but also had to settle for silver. Hopefully i'll get some bling to respray it sometime down the track, cause white on silver kinda looks strange, oh wells.

sf = cast (about 6 kgs each)
qf = forged (about 3-4 i fink if im not mistakemn.. just go to the buddy site )

but the appearance is basically identical...

and nice rims.. raysir' use to have them on his EK in 17'z white ages ago .. sold them off. them look alright. seem them in white and silver and dark bronze... congrats on the rims..
