Hey guys, I've recently bought some blox rear lca's and was advised that they work for itr suspension, and both ek/dc2 fork type suspensions as well.

On second thoughts of looking at them, the way i was told to mount the itr suspension just doesnt seem right. I was told to put the eyelet on the side of the lca and put the bolt through per usual. However would that not be dangerous? The blox lca's dont have a slot like the itr lca's where you can put the eyelet between and have the bolt go thru both sides of the lca. the design is like a typical dc2/eg lca...I thought mounting the eyelet to the side of the lca would put too much stress on the bolt?

Can anyone verify if i can use the itr suspension on them? The trader did say i could use them.

the ITR suspension need to use a LCA like below:

you cannot mount the suspension on to one of these.. you prob could with a huge bolt... but that is really stupid

that is what i thought too. But the trader told me it will work fine with the itr eyelet to just mount it on the side....

He said that blox make the same one for ek/eg/dc2/dc2r. But i thought the ek and eg lca's are different lengths? Still confused...

Should i just get a refund?

This Skunk2 / Function 7 / whatever does not suit the ITR suspension

in order to run the ITR lca's, you're going to have to change your suspension setup. from fork to eye.

On the left is the eye type

not sure who the seller is but tell them they are stupid. get a refund.

what happens if u mount it on the side? you'll f up the geometry of the way the shock sits and moves. Something will probably snap due to the misalignment, and u'll end up in an accident.

the seller is just trying to make a buck. in my honest opinion, don't change the LCA for a cheap cast alloy LCA like the one you have posted. Very likely it will be weaker and quite unsafe. Sell it or refund.

If you really want bling, get an ASR brace.

im not after bling. just after something to run the eg6/itr suspension on. i already have asr and itr rsb. i specifically asked him too. cause when i saw them i didnt believe they would work... ill get a refund since he's a trader on here anyway.

thanks guys.

get OEM ITR LCA's. ~$150 second hand. If honda are willing to mass produce cars with this part, and having almost heard of no failure of this part, I think its a pretty good bet that you'll be getting a high quality product.
