Hey Team

Am I dreaming in my goal for finding a VTI-R, VTI or SIR EF, EG or EK Civic

For around 7.5K?

I have been in Sydney for two years now and the price of cars still shocks me :eek:

I am just unsure If I am being unrealistic in my expectations

Your budget is very realistic and can buy either of them, maybe except the EK4 (VTI-R), but that doesn't mean you can't. Just saw in the car for sale section on this forum, LLS sold his EK4 for $3.5k?! WTF! Bargain of this century for sure.

7.5k will definately get you an engine converted EG, and possibly an EK also.

If you're buying standard EKs, 7.5k will also be within your budget to acquire a GLi model (all electronics).

Will just depend on what you want.

You only like Civics? Integras and Del Sols will also fall into your budget also.

I have been looking but everything seem to be in the 10K plus also alot seem to have K20 swaps that put them well out of my price range

Yeah I am will keep looking defantly going to buy the first one I see, well I will if it is what I am looking for

I will also consider Integras, just not DA's as if you have been to New Zealand or lived there you will know that 90% of the worlds supply of wine red DA XSI intregas are there :)

Yeah I jsut missed out LLS's car, I would have given him 5k cash this weekend for it

Ah well will keep my wanted add up and eyes peeled

I got an EG carby for 2.5k last year. Definitely not dreaming, just need some patience I reckon.

If u mean an eg with a b series, then u can easily grab a b16 eg for under 7.5k, tidy as well. Ef9 as well, in fact there is one STILL for sale, the black SiR, I seen it, it's ok, little rough but still goes ok, needs a few bob thrown at it to bring it to past glory tho
ek4, if u look hard enough but it will be pushing high kms,
the cars r out there, but don't expect anything mint or perfect for that money, need to add extra on top.

If u mean an eg with a b series, then u can easily grab a b16 eg for under 7.5k, tidy as well. Ef9 as well, in fact there is one STILL for sale, the black SiR, I seen it, it's ok, little rough but still goes ok, needs a few bob thrown at it to bring it to past glory tho

sorry, yamikaze was selling it, had it for sale for months, started at $7500 then last was $5500, but its since been sold, but i remember it was avail for ages.

u could definately get a b16a and maybe a h22 eg..standard ek's you could pick up for around 5.5 with low ks. and thats in queensland, ive heard sydney is heaps cheaper.
