Required:
- Hours and hours of labor

Steps:

1. Strip the original paint off from the rocker cover using paint striper.

*ensure to wear gloves when handling the paint striper, wash it off immediately if it comes in contact with skin.

2. Use a brush to apply the paint striper on to rocker cover, make sure to get all surface covered with a thick layer.

3. Let it set for a sec or two before scraping it off.

*hose it down and this is what it should look like after the paint has come off.

*you may need to apply the paint stripper a couple of times to get rid of the old paint, pending on the quality and amount of paint was originally used.

4. Once all paints are gone… the hard work begins. Start sanding the cover with 180grit sand papers and then gradually move up to 240grit, 600grits etc..

*you can try use a sander… but I didn’t find it to be much help, also wear a glove when sanding it will make it a lot less painful.

5. So.. after hours and and hours sanding, when you happy with the result, give it a quick wipe and then apply the metal polisher, maybe a layer of wax as well after.
