Greetings, the tyres on our 2008 Civic Sport are Michelin Pilot Sport 215/45 R17... As they have travelled almost 45,000 k's, time is approaching where they need to be replaced... Can anbody please recommend a suitable brand of tyre to replace the current tyres... I have been told that Toyo Teo Plus are a quality tyre, I've been quoted from $175 up to $185 per tyre... One tyre shop recommened that I replace the tyres with the 'new' Michelin Pilot Sport 3... These tyres seem pretty good by what I have read about them... Only the price is a tad high at $299.00 per tyre... Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated...:honda:

go back to the dealer, sometimes they offer competitive tyre prices since they're not unique to their brand

Try Bridgestone Potenza Adrenalins RE001, they are very grippy street tyres with a fairly stiff sidewall. Approx $200 per corner, ask around!

+1. Very grippy, awesome looking tread pattern and surprisingly good in the wet. I've done about 40k's on mine, still going well.

yes, those sizes are fine, could even try 205 for that very slight stretched look but barely noticeable, 225 is a little too big in my opinion. I think the 215 is best fit.
