Suggestion's on how many percent tints i should get for my civic?

Get 20% should have no trouble as I don't

Get 5% if you're daring...looks awesome. My brother has had no trouble for months with 5%.

Cops tend to do jack shit.. Its more worrying when insurance companies can void ur claim if they find ur illegal tint caused an accident

search the appearance gallery, i remember seeing a thread a while ago based on window tints, u just gotta think 2 yourself, if a cop drives next to you and looks at your window tints, will he/she think 2 themselves "these windows are 2 dark?" or will they think nothing of it and move on....

also remember insurance... 35% is legal limit anything darker than that is most probably going 2 be the sole reason u rear ended someone in their opinion :p

i got 5% for rear and 10% at the front. Looks great IMO. :)

Go with 15-20%. I went with 15% and never had any trouble with cops.

I dunno how people cant drive with 5% tints for the drivers window. You can see what your gonna turn in to at night

please dont go 5%. looks cool but at night on a dark road you can't see outside your drivers window. AND in the rain goodluck seeing at all. thats from my experience. mix it up. u can put the rears to 5% and fronts at 15%.r

im gunna scrap my 35% =.= its not dark enough
i only got the job done in feburary too
but oh well at least i had lifetime warranty on it and only costed me 130 to do all 6 windows

get 10% all round , i had it on my charade n loved it, then i put 20% on my em1 thinkin it wudnt b much of a diff n now i regret it, 10% looks amazinggg n if u ever get hassled by cops it wud jus b bad luck cause with my charade i neva had a problem.

i got my whole car done for $300 way back when i bought it with 3M ... has a lifetime warranty but its 30%

they stuffed the rear demister tho =/

I got 8% front sides and %15 rear windows.

15% front and 5% back is wat i did, works great :)

You can as dark as you want on the back and rear side windows but 35% is the legal limit in the fronts. I had 20% all round and it looks great no trouble seeing at night

ok i ended up settling with 15 % tints and this is how it looks
