rear view mirror ripped off!

Might sound stupid but....

was wondering if anyone knows how to put back a rear view mirror on a eg??
[quite stupid that it's on the window]
tried heaps of stuff, even bought stuff recommended by autobahn but dammit only worked for 2days then came off. Just hate using a ****ing suction cup mirror lol any suggestions would be greatful cheers.

did you try the glue specially made for rear view mirrors?

i think u only get 5-15 secs to put it on properly otherwise you will have to buy a new windshield

I used 3M VHB tape. Just need to use some painters tape to hold the weight of the rear view mirror up overnight so that the VHB has time to set. Once set, there is still a bit of flex, but it doesn't fall off.
