hey everyone i found a white wire. it has gold or yellow rings around it but not stripes just white and the sensor stil doesnt work. im a mechanic.. but im no good with electrics :( its something im working on. the gauge i brand new. not saying its not defective.. but yeah.
its sitting as low as it does when its off (the pointer is right on lean) i know it runs lean when there is no pressure on engine. and i havnt moved it since being connected. so im wondering if it is working or not.

are you allow the engine to warm up when testing.
O2 sensors only work when they have warmed up, the sensor in yor car has a heater to help it warm up quicker

oh so its suppose to constantly erratically move around.. i thouhgt it stayed pretty consistant.... like lean at idle heavy foot would be rich and crusing would stay around the middle.. mine just constantly jumps around everywhere
