RB1 Odyssey 6 cd changer/stacker fail?

Hi folks,

Out of the blue, the cd changer stopped working and error message pops up when trying to access. there is power running to the changer as you can here noises upon startup. can't eject cd's either which is strange.

Tried to search for info on this, but couldnt find anything. People in the US seem to have similar problems though, but ended up paying heaps at honda dealer to replace.

Wondering if anyone here has had similar problems? Havent had time to speak to the dealership and service is probably closed this long weekend...:thumbdwn:

You mentioned people in the US... They dont have AU/JDM spec Oddy... But do they have the same spec stacker?

Did you solve it? I have a 2005 Oddy with a 6 disk changer, and I'm getting rid of it. I'm happy to pull the changer. Hope that helps solve the problem?
