hi mates, i m looking to get a set of koni shocks for my del sol.
i m new to cars and want to learn sth, so don't want to get them installed by mechanics;
in stead i m looking if any buddies in melb could help me out and i could learn sth abt my car,
like showing me how-to-do step by step; i don't mind paying some money btw.
if any buddies could kindly give me some help and spare me a couple of hours that'll be appreciated :)

so what you're subtly saying is you want a backyarder to install the suspension while you watch?

otherwise check out this diy (http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthread.php?70834-DIY-Koni-amp-Ground-Control-Civic-Install&highlight=koni) on our very own forums
print them out, set yourself a few hours and do it yourself
instructions are pretty similar through dc2/eg/delslow's
loads of other stuff you can learn from the diy (http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?31-DIY-Articles-Reviews) section too

nah mate, it's like when he has done one side, then i can do the other side with his help.
i love DIYs usually but reali not in this matter,
u know i don't hv any experience and don't hv the right tools i guess,
this is my only car and the last thing i want to see is running without suspension...
thz for the links btw, they are useful and will help me out later in my DIY "career" lol
