Starting first mods for my euro. Bought the sports euro wheels, have the euro R grille coming in hopefully. Now just need a kit to complete it.

Where do I get it in Sydney?

Going off this post (http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthread.php?108581-Alfa-Rein-s-RE53LU), it's a genuine Euro-R kit.

In terms of where you can get it, jdmconcept.com.au (http://www.jdmconcept.com.au/index.php?option=com_jdm&p=detail&vid=26&cid=322) would be your best bet.

JDM yard should also be able to source it for you quite easily

Thanks all. I'll try both and see if I can source it.

If anyone is selling a kit in the meantime please PM me.

Same goes for a euro R grille.

Muchly appreciated.

Hey guys, just wondering, the facelifted 06+ model Euros spots/limited edition's kit is the same as the Euro R kit right? So would it be cheaper going to Honda dealership and getting the Euro R/Sport kit from them or would it be cheaper importing the genuine Euro R kit as Honda's prices are really high? And also anyone know the estimate prices of getting it painted and fitted for the Grill,Front,Side,Rear Skits.

Also NotForYou, how much did you get the sports euro wheels for? Thanks.

Cheers.

I got the wheels for $800 including tread off ebay.

As for the kit, I have emailed JDM Concept and am waiting for a reply. I'm trying to source the Euro R front lip, side skirts, rear lip and Euro R grille through them. I'll let you know what they quote me mate.

Yes the facelift sport version has the same kit as the euro r, so you can directly order from Honda Australia or any honda dealer. Same goes for 03-05 cl9's, the facelift bumper will fit and therefore you can use the euro r kit aswell. Personally, I prefer the facelift kit. Almost 2 years ago, I paid approx $1.5k for kit + painting (second hand).

This was my car (08 standard model) and i purcahsed the front + rear lip and side skirts

Could someone please explain to me what the facelift kit is?

Is it the whole front bumper with the lip attached to it?

I was assuming with the front bumper I'd just buy the lip and and it'd bolt on underneath.

jyh888, since you dont have fog lights, what did u you do/use to cover the holes?

I don't think they're covered by the looks of it.

Wow $800 nice, and yes i think they're not covered, and i personally prefer the facelifted kit also, looks HOT, and jyh888 nice euro man, loving the black, what interior is it? black or beige? 1.5k 2 years ago, you think it will be cheaper now?

Cheers.

Yeah 17" mate. I'm picking them up on the weekend. Will take a pic when I have them on the car. They're just the standard ones you see all over the internet.

Route the foglight holes to a CAI, that'd be pretty cool :)

The facelift kit is the 06-08 bumper as the front and rear is slightly different to the 03-05. In order to use euro r kit (06+) you need to buy the facelift bumpers - if your lucky ive seen them go for pretty cheap.

And yes nothing was covering the foglight holes as mine was a standard not a luxury

Simonnn you are right, route piping or aircon duct to your intake :) direct cold air feed ftw!

I was running an injen cai and with this setup, it gave me very good airflow and performance

Lol Simon, i dont have CAI yet :(
and my resonator is off

Pic as promised with new wheels on. Just gotta drop it a couple inches, body kit it and grille it. Do CL7 Euro R grilles fit CL9's?
Also with the chrome strip above the grille in the first post pic, has it been removed or painted?

Yes euro r grilles fit the CL9. For your car you need to use the 03-05 grille or if you prefer the facelift, you will need the bumper aswell. The chrome strip can be painted to suit your colour.

OK I don't want to stuff around with getting different bumpers to fit the facelift kit. I just want the Euro R kit to screw straight on.

So let me get this straight, I have an 04' Euro. If I were to order the kit off the pic in my first post it'd screw straight onto the front and rear bumper I already have on the car?

Or do I need the facelift front and rear bumper?

Good question NotForYou...I would also like to know this too. i'm looking to do the same thing with my CL9 preface lift:)

yeah, basically that euro R kit is for the 03-05 models. yours falls within the years. so youd be after the prefacelift exterior goodies.

so the lip will go over the bottom part of your stock front bar you have now and screw in/on.

Only small thing u need to consider is where the foglights are, the the black plastic stuff around the foglight lense u need the JDM ones with 4 square holes in the corner so the tabs from the euro R lip can go in them. Like this

http://tsxclub.com/forums/images/DIY/t27984/JDM_Honda_Accord_Euro-R_CL7_FogLamp_Covers.jpg

Or you an do the ghetto thing and just cut holes into em. like this.

Heres a pic of wat the tab looks like...hope u can see wat im talkin bout.
