hey guys/gals
ive got some teg vtir rims atm on my civic and i noticed that the clear coat is starting to pill and is really noticeable. My question is what are my options with them? Is there any way that i can get the original colour back? For instance take it to a rim place, would they know what to do? Or has anyone had any experience with the rim paint which you can buy at autobarn which is supposedly alloy in colour, will that turn out alright or would it just have that cheap grey colour? If worse comes to worse i was thinking of painting them white. WHat do you guys/gals fink on a dark green hatch?

Dont know how the autobarn paint would turn out. With most things you get what you pay for, so it would probably serve only as a tempory solution.

White rims on a dark green hatch are :thumbsup:. If you went this route, i'd reccomend powder coating.

yea i was looking at powder coating..
but i want the standard alloy colour so yeaz..
but if that is my only solution i might do that

Try somewhere like Donnellans (If your in Melb). They do rim repairs/services.
