Hey Guys.
I have recently just done a B16a swap into my EG Si. During the swap I had a wire tuck done to my engine bay and my dash loom was slightly modified for the new dash/engine loom.
The car starts fine, but the issue I am having is with acceleration. At first when I accelerate, it just cuts off as in my engine dies. I start it up again, and this time pull on the acceleration cable SLOWLY to get past the DIEING stage and all I hear is a deep choking sound, as if its not getting enough air. My revs don't sound like they are rising, it just holds at this same point. (currently do not have an air filter connected, shouldn't make a difference though)
Would anyone know what the problem would be? I've tried checking the ignition timing/firing order, check the timing of the cams/timing belt, cleaned my injectors, checked the fuel pump, replaced spark plugs. I haven't changed the fuel filter as of yet as I haven't been able to remove it.
Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks guys
