Hey guys,

I just have a question to ask regarding my Euro today.
Recently my euro 2007 model has reached it's 30th thousand kilometers, it's sitting on about 31-32k km at the moment.

I serviced it myself for the first time about 1-2 weeks ago, flushing and replacing the oil and coolant, also replaced the CASTROL EDGE 5W-30W oil filter. I didn't want to take it out to Honda because of a tight budget this month. Anyway recently i've been experiencing some problems, the yellow VSA symbol keeps popping up and theres another yellow writing saying "Check system" or something.

About a few days ago, my car started struggling as if it were detonating or knocking. I am saying this because it has been running very loud and when I'm trying to accelerate from a low speed (say 0-30km/h fast), it seems to struggle and make a pinging noise. However there is very little trouble trying to accelerate from a running start say from 50 to 70km/h etc.

Also about a week ago, I poured petrol into the Euro, I could've sworn that I poured premium in but there might be a slight chance that it may have been regular unleaded. Luckily I only filled up $20 at the time. So after a couple of days of struggling I got worried and poured in some premium petrol to fill the rest of the tank, with hopes that it will mix with the regular petrol (assuming I poured in regular in the first place :P). It got better, the yellow error messages stopped popping up and the knocking or was reduced significantly after I drove around for about 20 minutes or so. But it started happening again when i started my car the following day.

I was reading up on the internet and I heard that euro owners usually take their euro out to honda for the 30k km service so they can do something to the ecu or do some other major services, perhaps this is what i need to do? I am worried because i already voided the warranty by servicing my car on my own.

Can someone please enlighten me on the issue? Sorry for the long post :)
Thanks in advance.

Do this and read the code. http://www.k-series.com/tech_document.php?id=37

Then compare your code to the description of the problem.
