hi all

when i turn on my lights the rear lights are meant to turn on too but only one out of the three lights does (out of the spoiler light, left and right rear brake lights only the right rear light turns on) but when i brake all three lights are on

was wondering if i cud get a diagnosis and fix :/

erm are the stand by lights the brake lights? this is on my teg wot car do u have? and is it legal to drive around like this >_>

replace the bulbs?

no u need to replace the bulb asap. its a defect for driving around with non working lights

but the bulbs work wen i apply the brakes.. just not on when i turn on my lights

or is that a problem with the bulbs

it could be the low beam part of the bulb that is blown.

you should find when you look at the bulb there is two parts of filament or whatever the hell its called, one for low beam and other for brake lights.

same goes for headlights that share the same light for low/high beam.

would it be the fuse? Or does the fuse light up all the rear lights?

Dual filament bulbs - your low beams are dead. Go get new ones. $4 from Kmart =] Just replaced mine. I was scratching my head too!

^what he said... on bulb does the duties of both lighting positions, dual filament as they call it!
