View Full Version : EG civic Rear LCA wont fit dc2 ?

Took my car to the panel beater to replace the rear LCA but he told me the LCA i provided is wrong.

Got it off a EG hatch and my car is a dc2 93 model

I thought they were the same?

umm depends dc2 and eg comes in two different rear LCAs.

ones fork type other is ball type.

to the OP, the first pic shows Type R lca's, if that's what you have then they won't fit unless you use Type R shocks

breeze and gli dont have the sway bar holes, only the vti model of egs come with the sway bar holes.

The first picture, is from an eg6. and will work only on dc2r.

more than likely if you dont have a type r, you picked up a breeze or gli one which is incompatible.
