have you checked if the battery has a charge? something could have drained it

turn the headlights on and see if there dull.also try cranking it with the lights on and if the go off sounds like the battery is dead then.if you got no headlights also dead battery.

New battery eh? Maybe ur started motor is screwed. Just a though, I'm at a loss as well.

Check everything, make sure it's in working order. It's really a case of elimination and troubleshooting.

the car driven to work this morning and started tonight. yea ive been trying to see what else it could be , everything works lights , system , interior light , no dimming at all , there is no crank when the key is turned hence my assupmtion that it could be starter or alternator

If it was the alternator then the battery would be dead.
