Just wondering if someone could help me work out if i have the wrong sparks in my car. (No idea why it took me this long to check them.. been two months from when i bought the car :/)

My car is an EF8 CRX but the b16's had CTR cams swapped in and im pretty sure ive got a S300. The current sparks in the car are BKR5E-11's but i know that stock heat range is 6's... Any reason id have the hotter plug? Should i put BKR6's in it? How about even going to 7's? Is it possible the car is tuned for 5's? Or should i just go and ask the guy who tuned the car? (Or apparently tuned it anyway).

Thanks in advance =]

bump..

what seems to be the problem with your current spark plugs??
are they working fine?

if nobody really answers your post,
your best bet is to go and ask the guy who tuned it himself.

good luck

For the Street 6's. If you track it then use 7's.

Quite a late update, but did as Deano suggested and went with th 6's. All is well with the car :D

They werent too bad looking when i took them out and simply though that it cant hurt to change sparks once in a while :P
