They aint legal for street use right. They have no rubber gripping what so ever.

Do you know anyone that has actually been defected for pedals??

That would be sooo tight, if a cop actually did that!
Then again.....would be tight if somebody's foot slipped on their pedals and they crashed into me......... >_<

mugen "sandpaper" pedals have more grip than any rubber ones..
u can't drive barefoot tho, may take a chunk of skin off if u "slip"

also, dc2 type Rs had a option of similar pedals to first ones as a "upgrade" from honda AU

is the footrest is secured or does it just sit on top of the carpet?
might help protect my crossovers...

umm.. i remember reading about it somewhere... i think this month's asm mag

MC racing dude got defected by the cops for having stock wrx pedals in his stock wrx (before it became the MR WRX) and the car was 8 days old or something...
so yeah
they can defect you for pedals

Really? I have never done any modification to my Jazz so my knowledge is very limited. So how easy? Just unscrew the original pedals off and screw the Mugen one on and that's it?

that's pretty expensive
but its not really the smartest thing to drive barefooted anyway
