reason i ask is cause i need a new clutch for my crx(B18c).
Car wont engage gears atm, and honda dealer is close by...
Ill be doinga turbo install round Jan Feb, wondering if the honda clutch will hold 200whp, or what is the max itll hold before slipping

it would probably hold the power, but it depends on how you drive it, with slower gear changes etc. if not dont expect it to last the same as if in a stock/er car

how much do honda charge for a clutch kit?you've got plenty of time to get another one b4 jan/feb.. im pretty sure one of the traders here could help you out this week if you wanted.

As above. It will hold once fully engaged, but will slip if you do quick/hi rpm gear changes. I'd defiantly NOT use a oem clutch with a turbo setup.

my clutch is slipping also, and i'm running a sports organic. Only lasted 20K

getting a exedy ceramic clutch installed this week.
Some have been able to run the sports organic, but a few people i know have had the sports organic not able to hold a boosted turbo for long.
If your gonna change it i'd upgrade at the same time

I baught a exedy HCK-7111SO (http://javascript:__doPostBack('ctl00$cph$lbSO','')) sports organic.....
Ill settle for 200fwhp, this should be fine for this clutch im also looking at buying carbon coated synchros and all the seals gaskets to do the gearbox at same time...

I had a extreme 9 puck clutch in it the one that in changing for 3 years...
It doesnt slip but ive would the cable as far as id like to and its a bitch to engage gears... over the past 2 weeks the clutch has just gone soft and not engaging, so ive had to wind it up nearly every day..
Is that normal for a ceramic, im under the impresion they wont slip at all...

Please take note that you measure by TORQUE not power, telling you bro, you'll wind that boost controller up and up before my eye blinks :p. Anyways see you 2moro at BBT, Heavy duty organic and heavy duty pressure plate should do the trick :)

doesnt sound like a clutch plate prob then, sounds more like a gearbox prob.

all clutches will eventally give as they wear down.. i dont know of any that slip proof

Hmmm, with my ceramic 6 puck unsprung problem was banging gears at high revs and as it does get overheated it feels less stiffer than it's cold.

^^^ its gets hot quick because its a 6 puck and therefore less surface area. Less surface area > you slip it > will get hot dam quick!
