Up until yesterday the car was driving perfectly normal. I didn't take it out anywhere but I did install some foglight HIDs. I didn't leave them on or anything and the battery still gives an 'OK' reading and seems to be powering everything fine on ACC (even the lowbeam HIDs and Fog HIDs will turn on).

However when I turn the key, the car cranks over and sputters and won't start.

Anyone have a clue what's happening?

It's my FD2.

Sounds like your battery, it has enough power to power the electronics but not enough to start the car.

The electrics require alot less power, trying getting a jump start and see how that goes.

After googling for the past hour I'm pretty sure you are right. Except this is going to be a tricky one...car is parked in the garage facing the inside! bah.

So all it's doing is making the really fast clicking sound with dash lights flashing.

Even though the battery eye says it's still good I guess it's not accurate.

Funny thing...

my brother is on vacation so when I couldn't start my car this morning I just thought to myself 'oh well, take his car'

but his battery is so drained I couldn't even unlock the doors :D
