Hi guys, again....

Has anyone installed this DMC thing where it tilts your side mirror down when you put your gear to reverse? and also auto closes your side mirror when you park your car (though i dont have the button to open close the mirror)?

I got a box of this right now but have no clue where to start? Anyone can recommend a good accessory shop in melbourne to do this job? or is this probably DIYable?

Never installed the auto dip or auto close, but this is what I understand.

Auto dip will work. Auto close will only work if you have the mirror close option installed. In other words, auto close will not work on our cars.

To have the mirror close function u will need to change the mirrors as the closing motors are in the mirrors themselves. You will then need to get the switch.

^^ listen to him. i was plan to have reverse mirror tilt as well but now changed plan. instead of tilt the mirror with all the hassle of wiring, may install a wide-angle camera (hope can see front and rear altogether) under the passenger side mirror then an on/off button inside the car when i need that for parallel parking. again still an idea but all Japanese audio manufactures have the camera with housing for sell already, just too bloody damn expensive......
