guage question

hey guys i just bought a couple of guages for my car
water temp guage and oil pressure

i couldnt find where to hook them up to, a mate tried a couple of places to do it but they were wrong

if anyone has done this can u tell me where they go? thanx.....

im guessing these gauges are mechanical ?
what brand are they by the way ?

oil pressure - u can either remove ur current pressure sender and replace it (pending the correct thread) or u need a T peice and T into the point where the sender is (just above the oil filter - http://members.optusnet.com.au/loxy/car/turbo/install/ (pics there). For the water temp, im pretty sure u need to tap into a coolant tube (depending on type) Guages arnt just plugnplay ;)

I have both these installed in my car. What type of gauges are they. I have electric ones. I put a T adaptor where the standard oil sensor was (the sensor is in the block just above the oil filter in a D16Y8). I put the coolant sensor in the return housing just before the large radiator hose (had to drill and tap a hole in the housing). If they are electric have a mechanic fit the sensors and do the wiring yourself.
