from your other post it doesn't sound like you are confident working on your car, so it might be good if you can get a mate who knows what they're doing to help out. Not ripping you, everyone has to start somewhere so its always helpful to have someone around who has some experience.

once again this is the front jacking point on an ED. the EK front jacking point will look almost identical

yeah you are right, i really dont feel confident in doing this since i have never done it before..!

i know where to place my hydraulic pump jack,
now i just gotta find out where to place the jack stands.
do i place the jack stands on the same bar that i use to lift up the car?

this is the jacking point i used for the hydraulic lift that flipfire showed me

actually from memory, that area didnt even look like a bar, just some metal protrusion

i brought a mate over who tried to use his XR6 as reference where he has only seen oil been changed in his car.
he showed me some suspicious spot that he said was the crossmember bar and i was like... no way cant be right.
XR6 and ek civic were built differently

1) Jam a brick on the rear wheel

2) Jack your vehicle up through the front.

3) Once lifted, position the stands on the side jacking points of the car

4) Slowly let the jack down till the car is sitting stable on the stands
