hey :wave:

would anyone know a place in sydney that will install a short shifter to 97 civic? and the $$$ its gonna cost. called a million transmission places but no one will do it :confused: you dudes think highly of dc sport shifter? anyone who has had one installed have any probs with it? last question ... do short shifter F*** up the gear box cause of constant quick shifts?

If you can get a hold of jack stands or car ramps just diy.

DC sports seems fairly reputable in the US from what I hear.

And it will be you the fooks your gearbox not the shifter ;). That is, it will promote faster shifting that will in turn lead to more ware and tare.

Short Shifter kits are generally easy to install.. You should be able to manage it nicely... Careful with dismantling the console though... :)

u can do it yourself in half an hour
much easier do do with a friend

on of the auto salon mag'z got the DIY of shortshifter bro'... see if one of your friend have one.. yeh ish prettie easy to install. the autoalson even has the contact details of the place they did it..
