As the title suggests, looking for peoples opinions on where to service my ek4 - 140 clicks on odometer.

i normally get it serviced at rick damelian in leichhardt but feel like they are over charging. confirmed by ringing larke hoskins dealer at rosebery with a quote of $270 compared to rick damelian which is quoting me $375.

thats a pretty big difference in price. anyone know if theres any difference in the services???

cheers

I called MRT at Rhodes for a service for my '97 EK VTIR. THey told me $650 for major service.

hope they give u lube with that reaming.
the car is way out of warranty now, take to a decent independent. its not an exotic supercar with specialist needs, most decent mechanics can look after it for under $200 a service

Do all fliter changes and fluid changes yourselfs lazy ppl these days save that 300 or so dollars for more parts! Every 15k i would recommend a trustworthy mechanic. They wont do anything special to ur car either, up it goes on a hoist and down comes the oil from the sump.

PS: Major service.... just do a spark plug change takes under 10 minutes. Trust us nothing special happens to ur car, they dont even clean ur shit. ONLY THING good they do is wash it nicely.
