[HELP]SRS Light

I have a 1997 EK1.
my SRS light turned on suddenly while I was driving, and it never turned off again.
I just wonder how can I solve this problem ?

Hey there, I've had this problem before and it can be many things. What my problem was the Cable Reel behind the steering wheel is dead and so it had to be replaced. Best thing to do is to take it to Honda for a diagnostic test and then see what the problem is. After that you can always get the parts yourself and replace it!

by cable reel you mean clock spring.

How much would it cost to do the diagnostic test ?

From memory it was around $150ish from Collins Honda at Rockdale. But they deducted the amount from the labour when I went back to give them the replacement part to replace the faulty clock spring.
