Air Bag and Steering wheel

Hi,

Honda has told me that they cant take my steering wheel off becuase the head of the screw is rounded. Not sure how this occured.

Anyway does anyone know if oyu disconnect the battery and you drill the screw thats round what is the likely hood this will set off the air bag? Is there anything else we can disconnect to prevent teh air bag from going off?

i think disconnecting the battery and ensuring that the electrical system has been drained of all current should do the trick, but im not 100% sure

^ disconnecting the negative will leave you safe from the airbag exploding in your face.
