Hey guys, recently purchased a set of CR Kais but one of them is damaged. I know there are a lot of threads about rim repair, and have been through a lot them. However, I think my problem is a little different. Here is a picture of the rim for reference.

I have done my own research and contacted two rim repair shops about this (Advanced Alloy Wheel Repairs and Wheel Tech Australia), and both have told me that since the colour is anodised it is impossible to get a perfect colour match. They have suggested that I spray two of the rims and chuck them on the same side of the car.

My question is if anyone has been in a similar situation where the colour matching of the rims has been difficult like this, and perhaps some suggestions as to who can do a good job for me.

Thanks in advance!

Another suggestion for a good place to get a quote - talk to Matt Coleman from Wheel Solutions
(03) 9427 9265
560 Church St
Richmond VIC 3121

They do lots of high end euros and supercars there.

If anyones interested, think I'm going to get them done at Wheel Solutions, been quoted around $200, and $80 for another one with minor gutter rash. A bit more expensive than the other shops I've called, but these guys are confident that they can get a good match (unlike all the other shops I called who don't seem to want to touch them!)

Gonna take them down tomorrow, will report back on results! (been told that it'll only take 1 day to repair too :D) Big thanks to Longers who actually met up with me to show me his repaired rim and Hullabaloo for suggesting Wheel Solutions! :)

Been busy everyday at work, so haven't had time to take decent pics but heres one I quickly took with my phone. Obviously colour isn't anything like what it looks like in person because of that, but you can see the amazing repair work!

If anyones interested feel free to contact me about it, and if you do go down make sure you see Matt and that Simon referred you!
