K20 Exhaust Question

Hey guys,

Just wondering if people can give me feedback on resonators. I have a 3" straight through exhaust on a k20a and the in-cabin noise is quite loud. Will a resonator help fix this? The exhaust shop says that it won't do that much.

PS: I have 2 axle back pieces already, one stright pipe and one with muffler.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Resonator would help. Liverpool Exhaust installed one of their resonator and muffler onto my 3" straight through exhaust. Quiten it down heaps and didnt affect any power

this kind of reply is the best. straight forward, answers the question, and from first hand experience.

add a straight through muffler, that will definately help quieten it down and get rid of any raspiness you may have without a resonator/muffer.
