Leather trim on base Euro possible?

Hi there..just wondering if it is possible to get leather covers for a base Euro. Have seen some 2003 versions being sold with leather covers - not sure if this de-activates the side airbags or not?

Anyone with more info?

hmm, theres a place around that makes slip on covers that look exactly like the cars trimmed in leather. unsure of the name of the mob but they advertise in hot4s etc n apparently are good. and im also unsure of if this affects airbags also

yes you can. and they are designed to rip where the airbags are.

I am wondering if it was included as an optional extra while buying the car then how does it work - preseumably the side airbags should be working!

you can get it as an additional feature when u purchase the car for an extra 1500-2000$ from what I recall. My girlfriend has an 06 base with beige leather :)

Thanks dj..did she get hers from honda dealership or a retailer...do you know if she had to compromise on airbags or it does not effect the airbags?

Or you can buy seats from the Lux model and fit them into your base model. Just need to wire up a 12V source and you get power seat adjustments!

got em from the dealer when she bought the car new. took 2 weeks or something but well worth the wait ;)

Thanks - does anyone know if leather trim is meant to be only seats or also include the side panels, and rear handrests etc?

Also how much would you reckon this should increase the sale price of a used base car - year 2003. Thanks!
