whining noise??

hi, i have a 92' eg civic si.
just recently it has been making a whining noise after your rev it a bit after a minute or so it goes away.. its just after it has been idol for a bit. it has only started happening recently

It sounds more like a loose drive belt. Does it whine also happen when you rev out of gear? If so check the tightness of your belts.:thumbsup:

Maybe even replace as the car seems to be getting older. Should cost around $20 a belt.
