i had king springs on before, but now i've recently changed them back to OEM

but my problem is that the two bolts wont line up to the shock now!
- and its not because i have to push it up/down to line it up...

its because its got no mobility of the brake drum thingy to move side to side...
- the bottom bolt lines up, but it can't move inside for the top bolt to line up... (it can't pivot on that bottom bolt)

its like its got crazy positive offset!

if you guys could give me any tips on how to fix this that'd be really great! much appreciated

First check wether you mount the top mount of the shock to chassis correctly, follow the arrow sign. If i can see from the last picture, it seems to be you accidently removed the drive shaft from the gear box, you are supposed to put some support under the wheel hub to keep the wheel hub straight and is not fell causing the drive shaft to popped out from the gear box.

ahhh k, yeh i think the drive shaft may have popped out!

is it a big job to fix?

uhm.... first option is if you lucky enough, you can try to pull out the drive shaft abit, lift it up and make it straight and push back in. 2nd option is to open the drive shaft boot and put the drive shaft properly back in the position, but it will get little bit messy because of the drive shaft lubricant also you will need to find the replacement clamp to lock the boot back in position. 3rd option is call mechanic :p

hmmmm i've tried to swing it out a bit and lift it up and swing it back in but doesn't seem to work =(

how much do you rkn it'll cost? ill have to get the mechanic to come to my house which is $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

i live in perth. i just got a quote for the call out fee from lube mobile which was 69 for first 15mins and then they said they'd quote me how much it'd cost to fix once they see the problem

worth it?

well that's sounds about right. but i believe it only takes about 5-30 mins just to put back the drive shaft back in proper position, assuming if they need to open the boot as well.

well i was on the same boat before but i manage to open the boot and use thick and big cable tie to replace the clamp, just tempory solution until i can source the clamp. but hey its working fine until now :D
