Hey guys are dc2r rear seats a bolt in job for eg?

also do they sit nice and flush???

i remember my mates ek4 had dc2r rear seats and didn't sit flush..he ended up changing back to stock because of this.

they bolt in. but not flush. leaves gaps on the sides.

will leave gaps cause dc2 body shape is different.

the EG and DC2 share the same floor pan so thats why they bolt in.

How big of a gap? My eg5 rear seats r showing some wear and there r a few dc2 and dc2r seats fs which I'm interested in. But it's no use if it looks out of place

that i do not know. but if you're after new seats i have seen a few forsale threads on here with EG6 flat folding rear seats. look super neat compared to normal EG seats. even has black plastic backings. i know 90lan had some for sale. he would know about the Dc2R seats too as he is EG guru.

I've read that the eg6 seats won't fit oz cars, 90lan mentions in his fs thread, but then again some guys are selling their eg civics and have done the rear seat conversion

Bugger. I have a clean set of EG6 seats (front & rear) that I was going to use. I'll have to look at how complicated the bracket is then.

Fronts fit fine, rears r the issue, what bracket is the issue, the seat or the Actual car bracket

yeah i was thinking eg6 rear seats too but as everyone is saying they're not bolt in.

so the dc2r seats leave a gap..it is really noticable?? is it worth changing or does the gap make it look cactus??

I'm buying dc2r black recaros and would like to compliment them with dc2r rear seats..but now i dunno..

yeah eg6 rear seats are the problem..wont bolt straight in..

DC2r rear seats will leave about 2cm gap on either side and you'll see the body paint..
i had EK9 rear seats in my EG and they were flush and nice:)

or if you want get the sedan version rear seat.. top and dc2r bottom and you got flush and fitment is as stock

if u want look same u need integra 4 door rear bottom seats will fit perfect they come with the red stiching as well. so for the ideal swap you will need DC2R rear back and DB8 rear bottom seats.

i got that on my eg it perfect fit no gap

ha ha great minds. i was thinking that too. cause im guessing the Teg 4dr seats aren't the easiest to come by.
why not take your recaro's to a trimmer and say match that. probly end up cheaper.

damm im confused i read some other threads saying that some fit and some dont fit. anyone got pics of the bolt ins and is the 2 cm gap visible? my mate is interested in a conversion too

they look like it'll cover the gap and then some..

doubt they'll be easy to find though.

my other mate has stock ek4 bottom and dc2r top...looks ok.

can any1 confirm if ek9 rear seats will bolt in?? and will they be flush?

is hard find db8 seat,i been looking half yr finaly found on ebay
