Just need some confirmation here that rear disc brake conversions for EG and EK are identical?

i.e. EG and EK can both have rear discs by upgrading to EG SI/VTI rear disks, EK GLI/VTIR rear discs or complete 5 lug with dc2r without mods correct? Should be straight bolt on?

are you keeping abs or have abs?

this has been covered a few times :) just make sure all of the parts used are in excellent condition :) change the trailing arm bushings, pads, (check calipers, rebuild kits are cheap and pretty easy to perform), rotors and inspect wheel bearings whilst this is off of the car, makes it cheaper in the long run :)

also how many k's on are the car? more than 220,000ks?

yes. although one thing that i cannot confirm is whether rear track width would change or not.

Always try and get the handbrake cables from the car you are taking the conversion from. Makes it much easier.

Pretty much bolt on but if your upgrading from a cxi drum brakes to ek gli/vti-r or even dc2r brakes you would want to change the brake booster and master cylinder and the proportional valve to get full use of the rear disc brakes.

ek9 is on the money in terms of the cxi requirements (pq point left :))

for the vti it doesnt need a thing done apart from anything attached to rear disc brake trailing arm :), and for the lines use any vtir integra, civic sedan, civic hatchback brake lines as theyre a generic length throughout the series on disc brake models (I tried those all out on mine anyhow :))

to solve more problems, no you cannot reuse drum abs modules, you will need disc brake abs ones if applicable as most people cut those lines to save time when removing the brake parts (like removing the rear bench is a difficult exercise to unclip and slip the clip under the car, lol :))
