arent stockies 14"?
by putting 17" youre already making it illegal..lol
dont see why you cant put different wheels up front or back. its like you see all those holden utes with stockies on the rear..ROFL
just tell the cops that you other two wheels needed tyres changing or some crap.

It is illegal to run different sized wheels on the same car unless it was specified from factory (e.g. S2000).

I hate to break it to ya man but having 15's on the front and 17's on the back won't do anything to your acceleration, when I changed my 14's to 17's all I noticed was better grip, there wasn't any decrease in power or acceleration or anything.

You might have 'slightly' better acceleration, but it would look extremely retarded.

and the rear im having a rough guess of 315/30r30 custom made tyres!

it will affect your gear ratios, maybe not 15's if you have the correct profile. It's all about rolling diameter. If the total rolling diameter exceeds factory spec it makes your ratio's longer, which affects your acceleration.

The other thing i would be worried about is with mismatched wheels, the car becomes cop bait... i remember back when i had my N13 i used to put the stockies on the front for frying purposes...

keep the same size man..

i thought it would make it faster, because the bigger the wheel size, the longer it takes to spin a whole circle 360-degrees hence, slower times..
whereas the smaller the wheel, the less time it takes to spin a whole circle, hence faster times..

yep that is true, but what I mean is I don't think you'll notice any difference, and having the bigger wheels on the back, I'm not sure but it may defeat the purpose. usually the reason people put bigger wheels on the back is for super high powered RWD cars that require more traction at the back. I think Integra's look sick either on 15's or lowered on 17's.

my opinion anyway, what you do depends on what you like i guess. :)

does anyone have different size wheels from the fronts and rears?

I do!, 2 spare-saver tyres at the front and stock at rear

hahahaha reminds me of that horrible RSX in USA with massive drag wheels on the rear and tinny wheels on the front...
AND IT WAS STILL A FWD CAR LOL

there is a noticeable difference in acceleration feel.

the feeling, not actual performance.

There is if the 15s are lighter :)

There is if the 15s are lighter :)yeah, probably more performance if they are lighter.

I was just speaking from experience.:)

ps. how are you?

The chirping is from less tyre contact patch and less rotational mass with lighter wheels

Also your "shift-uppu" technique can make it chirp more or less

you wanna go faster? why not get drag wheels - fat slicks on the front and skinny's on the rear.

lol. since you'll get defected either way, why not go all out.

haha mine's a jdm itr cover... just in "stealth mode" lol ...and the traction issue is more tyre than rim related.
