View Full Version : Headlight Washer's
Hi guys,
when i first bought my car the headlight washers worked, but recently when i tried to use them they didnt. i checked the fuses etc and none have blown. When i push the button, it makes a click sound behind/around the cluster area.
Does anyone have any idea where to start to find the culprit? :s

this might sound obvious but have you checked your wiper water levels?

it only clicks once, but would u kno where the pump is located?

dude, fill it up!! jk.
make sure the hoses arent blocked... take off the bumper and disconnect the hoses then squirt..see if water flows thru it... if it does, then maybe ur nozzle is blocked.

exact same thing happened to me.... part of me thought it was a blessing in disguise but then again I didn't want buttons that didn't do anything. Turns out one day after a few other times of random bumping the switch by accident it started working. I'd assume that it is most likely blocked somewhere.

try checking the switch under it again and clean the terminals , re connect them might work lol i disconnected mine cause i hated when people jumped in after i just washed the car they would spray the whole car again
i havent checked the pump yet.. but when i press the button randomly itll spray.. i noticed the click sound is when the spray stops.. which i guess is normal?
but after a few presses it stops working.. then itll work randomly later again.. :s
i checked the connection at the button etc..

I didnt think anybody actually used their headlight washers? I find them a real annoyance. they spray water all over my bonnet. When I first got my car Id always accidently bump the button when I had the top down and Id end up getting sprayed inside the car from them
