View Full Version : Difference between h22asir and h22a4 ?? Help

I've been thinkig about changing my piston ring for a 1999 Honda prelude h22a sir but I'm not sure if it's the same as a standard h22a4 from a 1997 prelude can anyone help
me please ???

Rings are interchangeable. If you are going to all that trouble you might want to switch to P5P pistons (11:1) at the same time, although I guess that is only a 0.4 increase for an SiR. Also remember that honing FRM sleeves is different to regular ones, so make sure whoever you use knows what they are doing.

Only thing to consider is that 13011-P13/P5M-0XX are for regular size (A and B) and 13021-P13/P5M-0XX are for 0.25mm OS pistons.
