[CL9] key stuck in ignition

Guys

The latest issue with my 2004 160,000km old Euro has occured.

Yesterday i turned the car off but the key remained in "ACC" mode and wouldnt release.
The green key flashed in the dashboard.

This is the immobliser i'm assuming ? (i havent had a chance to read the manual).

Only way to remove the key from the ignition is to disconnect the battery.
I've tried both keys incase, but still the same issue.

Any ideas ?

I've had that problem but it just turned out that I was in Neutral (AT) and it wont let me pull out. Also, the key can be sticky sometimes and wont budge. I have to push the key in harder then pull towards me and then it comes out. Your case seems different though and I'm guessing it could be an immobilizer issue. Probably best to get a read off Honda to find exact cause of problem. Good luck!

Thanks for the replies guys.

Tron you are right, the gear lever wasn't totally 100% in the park position.

Last night in frustration, i gave the gear lever a whack and to my suprise out came a bottle lid which had managed to wedge itself into the gear lever covering.

The indash indicator showed it at P but isnt was quite there.
